How to Print Your Book
File Preparation: For saddle-stitched or wiro-bound books, provide a single PDF containing all pages in order. For perfect-bound or hardback books, you will need two PDFs: one for the cover (including the spine) and one for the inner pages.
Colour and Resolution: Create your artwork in CMYK with a 300 dpi resolution for the best results. Ensure the black text is set to 100% black.
Cover Design: Different binding methods require specific cover file setups. Ensure your files include the bleeds and quiet areas to avoid cropping issues. Remember, gloss lamination can help colours look more vibrant, and matt lamination can give your book a classy look.
Binding Options: We offer various binding options to suit your needs:
- Saddle Stitched: Ideal for smaller booklets.
- Perfect Bound (EVA or PUR): Great for medium to large books.
- Wiro Bound: Perfect for manuals and notebooks.
- Hardback: Provides a durable and premium finish.
